Building more than just birdhouses.

In April 2020, as COVID became a pandemic, the restaurant where Lindsay Holcombe worked closed.  “I needed something to do to help my community,” so Lindsay reached out to her friend and peer Stephen Todd.  With his help and with support from family and staff, she created “If You Had Wings, Inc.

Lindsay, Alyssa W, Connie B and Ashley B have been designing, building, painting and marketing one-of-a-kind birdhouses ever since. In 2023, hand-painted Christmas ornaments were added to her offerings.

All proceeds benefit area and national non-profit groups, with priority going to organizations celebrating, encouraging, supporting and empowering children and adults with disabilities.

To date, and with much support from the community, If You Had Wings, Inc has donated over $32,000.

Lindsay has been a North Carolina resident for 34 years.  She currently resides in Morrisville with her family.  In her spare time, she enjoys Miracle League baseball, cheerleading, yoga, The King’s Singers, collecting college t-shirts and all things Disney related.  She is the proud aunt of 5-year-old twins.

If You Had Wings, Inc is a 501(c)(3) EIN: 85-0746579
