Each month or so, Lindsay will donate all proceeds to a 501(c)3 organization, with priority going to disability related groups. Stay tuned to find out each month’s charity. Oh, and don’t forget to check out our newest designs.

April 2024 Non-Profit
During  the month of April, we will be supporting
Peacehaven FarmWe LOVE their philosophy: “Whoever you are, we welcome you.  However you learn, we will embrace you. Whatever you have to share, we are listening. Our differences are power. Our challenges are opportunity. We see the human in people first. This is our common ground. We all are human with our own strengths and our own challenges. And we invite you to come as you are.” Kinda perfect.

March 2024 Non-Profit
During  the month of March, we chose Five Hearts Therapeutic Horsemanship program as our non profit recipient. We are happy to send them a check for $1200 to help with their mission “to provide therapeutic equine-assisted activities to individuals with mental, physical, or emotional challenges, to encourage growth and strength in a safe and caring environment.” Thank you Five Hearts!!

January & February 2024 Non-Profit
We’re happy to send a $700 check to The Malan Syndrome Foundation for birdhouse donations received in the first 2 months of 2024.  Their work to improve lives of individuals and families affected by Malan syndrome is appreciated!

December 2023 Non-Profit
Thanks to many supporters, we were able to send Extraordinary Ventures in Chapel Hill a check for $1,300.00.  Check out the good work they do via their 5 business: the Blue Hill Event Center, Extraordinary Laundry Service, Extraordinary Gifts, Extraordinary Office Solutions, Extraordinary Pet Services and Simple Clean.  Each one focuses on providing employment opportunities for an often overlooked workforce – Adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities such as autism.

November 2023 Non-Profit
Our month of Thanksgiving 2023 benefitted The National Inclusion Project with an If You Had Wings, Inc check for $1,030. They work to make the inclusion of people with disabilities the EXPECTATION, not the exception.  We couldn’t agree more.

October 2023 Non-Profit
During  Down Syndrome Awareness Month, we raised $1200.00 for the North Carolina Down Syndrome AllianceWe were thrilled to see so many friends and excited to make many new ones at the Buddy Walk on October 22nd!  In gratitude to all who support us in October and year round.

September 2023 Non-Profit

Happy to support Gabi’s Grounds as our September non-profit with an IYHW check for $425. Under the leadership of Gabi Angelini and her mom Mary, this women-led 501(c)3 nonprofit employs 40+ folks with disabilities.  Truly, “powered by special abilities.”  Thanks Gabi’s Grounds!!

July-August 2023 Non-Profits
We did a bit of “summering” during July – it was a HOT one!  In total we donated $550 to 2 great non-profit groups.  A portion of the proceeds from our August in-person event benefited  our very favorite ice cream with a purpose place, Howdy Homemade.  In addition, Learning Together, the Raleigh, NC Super-Inclusive Education pioneer preschool, is Lindsay’s choice for summer non-profit.

June 2023 Non-Profit
Smiling While Sending Hope. We are smiling and hopeful right along with you.  And we are grateful as well for the work you do.  Thanks to supporters, we raised $660 for you to keep providing comfort to others!

GiGi’s Playhouse, Raleigh. – we’re so happy to have you in our community and are excited to support our peers.  Many thanks to our April donors for supporting US with your $850 in donations.

February/March Non-Profit
Many thanks for helping us raise $1300 for Southeastern Guide Dogs. We are thrilled to support their work assisting people with vision loss, veterans with disabilities, and children with significant challenges. Southeastern Guide Dogs breeds, raises and trains elite guide dogs, service dogs, and skilled companion dogs.  Like AJ.

December/January Non-Profit
On a personal level, we are deeply grateful for the work done at our December ’22/January ’23 non-profit, the UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center.  We are equally grateful for your generosity, enabling us to make our largest single donation to date of $3300.00.

November Non-Profit
Our November non-profit is the Morrisville Veterans Memorial Foundation.  Thanks to all our friends and generous sponsors for helping us to raise $1,200 for this group!

October Non-Profit
October is Down Syndrome Awareness Month and this month’s non-profit is the North Carolina Down Syndrome Alliance.  Lindsay thanks the generous donors at the 2022 Buddy Walk who helped her raise $850.

September Non-Profit
Lindsay chose the Alzheimer’s Association of Eastern North Carolina for a $700 donation in September.  She chose the non-profit in honor of loved ones with Alzheimer’s and dementia.

Summer 2022 Non-Profit
IYHW, Inc began in the spring of 2020 when the pandemic became widespread.  Our Virginia Beach friends the Todd Family shared their model to “Do Good Things” via their non-profit Bluebird Beach Bungalows with us.  In April 2020, If You Had Wings, Inc launched.  It was an honor and privilege to send CEO Stephen Todd a check for $750 for Bluebird Beach Bungalows as our summer non-profit.  To date, Bluebird Beach Bungalows has donated over $100,000 to non-profits.

May Non-Profit
The team at If You Had Wings, Inc. donated $950 to 3 Bluebirds Farm as their May, 2022 non-profit. 3 Bluebirds Farm empowers families impacted by autism to spread their wings.  They offer track-out and summer farms camps for children and monthly social clubs for teens and adults with autism.

April Non-Profit
If You Had Wings, Inc. donated $450 to S.T.A.R. (Special Theater Arts Raleigh) for April, 2022.  S.T.A.R. is a local non-profit providing performance opportunities for adults with disabilities.

February/March Non-Profit
Lindsay & Team donated $900 to Miracle League of the Triangle as the February/March nonprofit. Miracle League is a fully inclusive program where anyone (5+) can play baseball!

November/December Non-Profit
Lindsay donated $1,350 to Kids Together Playground at Marla Dorrel Park. Kids Together has a long history with Lindsay’s family and provides a place where everyone can play.

October Non-Profit
Lindsay was able to donate $1,000 to the North Carolina Down Syndrome Alliance in October. They empower, connect, and support individuals with Down syndrome.

Summer Non-Profit
Thanks to our supporters we were able to donate $600 to Made4Me in the summer of 2021! They provide provide personalized adaptations (furniture and more) out of industrial cardboard for children with special needs.

May Non-Profit
Thanks to our supporters and Lindsay’s hard work we were able to donate $1,900 for Living with Autism, Inc. in May!

April Non-Profit
Lindsay raised $440 for BestBuddies North Carolina, in April!

March Non-Profit
Lindsay raised $600 in March for The Tim Tebow Foundation!

January & February Non-Profit
For January & February, Lindsay raised $900 for Esteamed Coffee!

November & December Non-Profit
For November & December, Lindsay raised $1,285 for Life Experiences!
